In celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2026Sky Capital, along with its head office Sifax Group commemorate the occasion with a two-day programme themed “Give to Gain.”

The activities were held from March 5th to the March 6th 2026, focused on empowering young girls, inspiring female employees, and supporting the surrounding community through impactful initiatives.

The celebration began with a mentorship outreach at United Christian Secondary School, Apapa, where over 500 female students received guidance and encouragement from senior female employees across the Sifax Group.

The mentorship session covered important topics such as leadership, education, personal development, and menstrual health awareness. During the session, the speakers shared their personal career journeys, highlighting the challenges they faced and the determination that helped them succeed in their respective fields.

The students were encouraged to remain focused and that the key to achieving their goal is to stay disciplined, hard work, and determination. As part of the outreach programme, the students also received donations of textbooks, menstrual pads, and perfumes, aimed at supporting their education and promoting personal well-being.

On the second day, a webinar was held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for female employees across the Sifax Group. The session featured Joyce Daniels, a Public Speaking Strategist, who delivered an insightful presentation on “Tools for Growth, Multiplication and Career Progression.”

During the session, she shared practical strategies for building confidence, improving communication skills, and positioning oneself for career advancement. The webinar served as an empowering learning opportunity for women across the organization.

The celebration continued with a community outreach at Ijora, where bags of food items were distributed to the women in the community.

Each bag was carefully assembled with essential household staples to provide meaningful relief and support to families in need. The distribution exercise was conducted in collaboration with community leaders, ensuring a transparent and orderly process.

Through mentorship, employee empowerment, and community support, Sky Capital’s participation in the International Women’s Day celebration reflected the essence of the theme “Give to Gain.”
